In addition to innumerable outdoor recreation activities, North Central Washington boasts a
full range of entertainment options. The most prominent of these is the Washington State Apple
Blossom Festival, which has been celebrated since 1919 and is one of the premier festivals in
the Pacific Northwest. Other options include community festivals, county fairs, artisan shows,
outdoor concerts, musicals, museums, multi-cultural celebrations, theater groups, lecture series,
community orchestras and every type of musical, dance, and drama presentation imaginable.
