PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

City Transit
Link bus service has provided public transportation to
residents and visitors in Chelan and Douglas Counties since 1991. Link provides
service to 19 communities along the Columbia and Wenatchee Rivers from its hub
in downtown Wenatchee. Fares are very reasonable, providing an excellent
transportation alternative to commuters, students and area residents. Link
works directly with businesses in the area to determine how they can best
facilitate the needs of the business workers. Customized bus schedules can
be negotiated for employers with 100 or more employees. The main Link transit
station is located at the intersection of Wenatchee Avenue and Kittitas Street
in downtown Wenatchee.
Bus Lines
Trailways provides multiple daily service options to the Wenatchee area. The
terminal is conveniently located at the foot of Kittitas Street in the same
building as the Link bus terminal, and across Columbia Street from the Amtrak
boarding platform.
Air Travel
Horizon Airlines provides service several times each day between Wenatchee and
Seattle. Executive Flight provides charter services with its fleet of Challenger
and Lear jets, and pilots certified to fly worldwide. Both services operate
from Pangborn Airport, which is located on Grant Road in East Wenatchee.
Rail
Amtrak provides daily East/West passenger service, connecting to hubs in
Seattle to the west, and multiple locations east-bound,. The Amtrak boarding
platform is located at the foot of Kittitas Street in downtown Wenatchee.
