The Port Commissioners also serve as the Board of Directors of the Douglas County
Development
Corporation (DCDC). By authorization of the Washington State Legislature,
DCDC can facilitate the issuance of tax-exempt revenue bonds to finance industrial
development projects within Douglas County. The interest rates for these revenue bonds
are lower than traditional financing and are available for the improvement and construction
of industrial development facilities such as manufacturing, processing, production,
assembly, warehousing, and infrastructure. Contact the Port of Douglas for additional
